We are proud to announce that the cloud based editor "Adobe Express" is now integrated and available within the Qbrick Video Platform. Making it easier than ever to start creating powerful video content for all your content platforms.
This guide will tell you all about how to get started!
Getting a license
Accessing & storing content within Adobe Express involves the need of a Adobe account & license, this can be directly purchased & handled through us. Please contact our sales department for more information: https://www.qbrick.com/contact-us/
Accessing the editor & starting a new project
Once added to your account, the app will be available within the media library under a new tab simply called “Edit”. This is also where you will later find all your saved video projects.
- To initiate the editor itself, just click on the "+ New" button and choose the option "Edit"
- This will now immediately prompt the editor within a overlay and start up a new project*.
* If this is the first time you are accessing the editor, you will be guided through a quick wizard and be prompted to accept some cookies.
- From here on you are ready to start editing your video right away but if you wanna make sure that your project is kept saved & ready for export later, it is also suggested that you login to your Adobe account* right away. This can be done using the button in the top left corner (see the image below for reference).
* see the above section for more info on receiving a license to use with Adobe Express
Saving your video project to the Media Library
- Once you are done with your project, you can click the "Save"-button to export your video to the media library.
- All videos saved through Adobe Express will be gathered under the tab called "Edit" and can from there be re-initiated for further editing.
Note: If you close the editor without clicking save, then your project will still be saved, but it will not be linked to the QVP. Meaning you will need to access the project using https://new.express.adobe.com/ if you wanna continue from where you left off. We are working on ways to improve this scenario moving forward.
Re-initiating an existing video project from the media library
- Under the tab "Edit" you will find a collection of all videos you've created through Adobe Express. If you access these medias, you will also find a option called "Open AE project" under the dotted menu next to the player.
- For quicker access, you can also right click directly on the thumbnail and choose "Open AE project"
- Clicking on this will re-initiate the original project you worked on for this video & allow you to edit and export a new version of the video.
- Note that the new export will be saved as a separate copy within the media library.
