Creating & managing a portal

Creating a portal

• Portals are created from within the media library
• Start creating a new portal by selecting the option under "+ New"
• Give it a unique name & select which preset you want use as a base. This will decide which features & branding that will be able available for you to edit.
  
  

• Once created, you can locate all your created portals under the tab "Portals" in the left navigation of the library or by clicking the shortcut in the header.

• To add content & manage your portal, simply click on the thumbnail, and the settings for the selected portal will open up.
• From here you can change the following parameters
  • Choose preset
    
    • This will adjust which preset to be used to display the selected content. Changing your preset will alter the design & may change the available settings (Note: Below settings are an example based the layout called "Video showcase")
  • Page title
    • This will change the name displayed on the page, tab name & the name shown when shared on social media
  • Content
    • Lets you add a "Hero video" placed on the top of page along with multiple playlists
    • Depending on the preset, you can choose to display the playlist either as grid or a carousel display.
  • Call to action
    • Allows you to link the page visitor to a separate site along with a suitable header & descriptional text
  • Social media link
    • Allows you to give direct links to all your social media platforms

• Under the "Share" tab you will find the following options
  • Share link
    • Gives you a direct link to share the portal with
  • iframe embed
    • Wraps the portal in an iframe allowing you to easily embed the portal within an existing site.
      
      
  • Share thumbnail
    • Allows you to alter the look of the portal thumbnail displayed when shared on social media.
